Witch and the Farmer
Standalone book
In a 1700s world where there is a buddy system to go outside because Witches and ghosts might get you, “Witch and the Farmer” is a fantasy novel focusing on Beulah, the oldest of three sister Witches, trying to find a safe place for them in a world that would persecute them for their mother’s crimes. Legally running away with her sisters from an abusive household with their father, Beulah bewitches a Farmer to marry her. Eugene can’t remember signing the engagement forms, but it takes weeks to get an annulment out in the sticks, or so Beulah says. Her social awkwardness mixed into Eugene’s desire to get revenge for his murdered family makes for an even rockier start when Beulah accidentally releases a vengeful poltergeist on the town.
